LandingLayoutsImport a template in about two minutes
The plugin does the whole job: it fetches the template you own, creates the pages, pulls every image into your media library, and installs Elementor if the site does not have it yet. There is a manual route as well, and it is below.
The short version
Install the plugin, paste a site key, press Import. You do not need to download anything, unzip anything, or install Elementor first.
1. Install the plugin
Download the plugin, then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and activate it. A LandingLayouts menu appears in the sidebar.
2. Connect the site
Open LandingLayouts → Account. Follow the link to create a site key in your store account, paste it back, and press Connect. A key belongs to one site and can be revoked for that site without touching your others. It is not your password, and it only permits listing and downloading what you already own.
3. Press Import
Under All templates you will see the whole catalogue, with the ones you own marked. Press Import on any of them. A dialog shows each step as it happens and locks the screen while it works, because the import writes several pages and downloads every image — a reload halfway through would leave the job half done.
When it finishes you get links straight into the Elementor editor for the pages it created. Both pages arrive as drafts. Nothing is published on your site unless you publish it.
4. Make it yours
Change the copy first: the words decide how the layout should breathe. Then set your colours globally through Site Settings → Global Colors rather than editing widgets one at a time, which is the difference between a five-minute job and an afternoon.
About Elementor
You do not need to install it first. If the site does not have Elementor when you press Import, the plugin installs it from WordPress.org and carries on — you will see it as a step in the dialog. Elementor Pro is installed alongside it where your licence covers it, which is what the contact and quote forms in these templates are built on.
On a host that blocks plugin installs from the dashboard, or with a WordPress account that lacks the capability, the plugin says so plainly rather than failing quietly. Install Elementor from Plugins → Add New and import again.
The manual route
Some sites cannot reach the store: staging behind basic auth, a locked-down host, a firewall that blocks outbound requests. Download the ZIP from your account and use LandingLayouts → Import ZIP. Drop the file in exactly as it downloaded — do not unzip it. It runs the same importer, so the result is identical, and you do not need to connect the site at all.
When it goes wrong
The layout looks nothing like the demo
Usually the theme is overriding Elementor’s container widths. Switch to Hello Elementor briefly to confirm the theme is the culprit, then fix the widths in your own theme rather than in the template.
A section shows a missing widget
That widget is an Elementor Pro one and Pro is not running. Open LandingLayouts → All templates and import again; the plugin installs Pro at import time where your licence covers it. If it is already installed, check it is activated under Plugins.
The import stops partway
Almost always a PHP time or memory limit on a large template. Ask your host to raise max_execution_time to 300 and memory_limit to 256M, which is a one-line change for them. Then import again — a repeat import creates a fresh set of drafts rather than overwriting anything.
Uploading a ZIP is refused
A PHP upload limit. Ask your host to raise upload_max_filesize and post_max_size to 64MB. The Import ZIP screen shows the current ceiling so you know what you are working with.
